How to switch your pet over to better foods

If your pet is overweight, itchy, has dandruff, stinky ears, or is shedding all the time like crazy, chances are your cat or dog needs a diet that is more nutritionally dense then what they are currently eating.

Judd’s wicked smoothie

Two recipes in a row? Crazy, huh? Well, this one is so good I had to share it now. This smoothie is really, really good and comes from my friend Judd. Don’t let the tofu stop you from trying it, you’d never know it was in there.

It’s smoothie weather!

When it gets warm I break out the blender and whip up a smoothie or two. I love ‘em, they’re easy, tasty, and really good for you. My favorite thing about smoothies?

Simple tip for the shower

Here’s something I do everyday. It’s easy, quick and has made a big difference with my skin.

“Meals make the society, hold the fabric together in lots of ways that were charming and interesting and intoxicating to me. The perfect meal, or the best meals, occur in a context that frequently has very little to do with the food itself.” -Anthony Bourdain

Fab facial mask for Spring

You know when you wake up, look in the mirror and go “eh” ? This facial mask will come to the rescue! Not only is it simple, it alleviates dryness, rough spots and helps your wrinkles to relax a little. It also makes your skin feel ridiculously soft.

Baby carrot scandal!

Lots of people really adore baby carrots because they’re sweet, really cute, quick and easy, but if you’re not seeing them with the tops on and they’re sold in a plastic bag, chances are they’re not really baby carrots, they’re actually grown up carrots whittled down to look like babies.

Moth relief

As far as closets go, I don’t think there’s anything more annoying than moths destroying all your favorite clothes.

Fried rice

This is the best way to get rid of leftovers ever! The recipe below is a great start, but add or subtract whatever you desire to make it your own.

“A crust eaten in peace is better than a banquet partaken in anxiety.” -Aesop
