Cookbook of the week

Cookbooks are some of my favorite things. They give me entertainment, inspriation, ideas, and usually tasty results. A good cookbook, a comfy spot and a cup of tea make for a nice break during the day.

All about tea

Tea is an ancient beverage with healing properties. Some teas wake you up, while others calm you down. Some can help you when you’re sick, while others will give you a boost to keep you well. 

Spa etiquette

I love spas. If I had my way I’d have a jacuzzi in my living room and the spare bedroom would be redesigned as a sauna.

We didn’t have much in our cupboards and it was my turn to make dinner. I ran out  to the corner store and picked up 2 onions, a hunk of goat’s milk gouda and  some pecans.
