Rules to live by
- Jan 4th 2010
A few years ago I found out about the Four Agreements. They’re from a book called “The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom.” It was written by Don Miguel Ruiz in 1997. The book is a great read, very interesting and based on Toltec principles.
The actual four agreements really made an impact on me, I’ve got them written out on an index card and I look at them every morning.
Here they are:
- Be impeccable with your word.
- Don’t take anything personally.
- Don’t make assumptions.
- Always do your best.
4 basic rules that aren’t always easy to follow, but will help you to live a better life. This book has been on the New York Times Best Seller list for over eight years.
Being healthy isn’t always about the food, attitude has quite a bit to do with it too. This book will help to get your new year on track. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did, it made quite an impact on me.
