Delicious Memoir

I love books and am in the library all the time. ¬†Last visit, a book literally fell out of the shelf and hit me in the stomach. I’m glad it did, it was loads of fun.

The book’s title is “I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti” it was ¬†written by Giulia Melucci.

It’s a funny, sweet memoir about growing up Brooklyn, NY, looking for love and seduction through food. The recipes are included, just reading them made my mouth water. The few I’ve tried were scrumptious, I can’t wait to try more.

A majority of the recipes are Italian, classics from her childhood. The titles are a riot, from Bucatini Amatriciana with MP3 File-Sharing Technology, to Spaghetti and Meatballs for Cooking Sluts and Those Who Love Them, how could you not want to try these out?

A perfect book for a vacation or for when you need a break, check it out, I think you’ll like it as much as I did. Click here to see the cover.
