Cleansing recipe

This is something I make all the time, it’s simple, nothing fancy, tasty and perfect for those times when you haven’t been eating enough good, healthy foods. This is also great after a wild night out.

You’ll need:

  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 large yellow or sweet onion chopped up
  • A bunch of kale or collard greens, rinsed really well and chopped (Get rid of the stems, they’re tough to digest)
  • Sesame seeds
  1. Take out your big heavy skillet and put over medium heat with a little olive oil, a less than a tablespoon should be fine.
  2. Add the onions and saute until at least translucent.
  3. Add the greens and cook for about 3-4 minutes or until they look wet.
  4. Add the sesame seeds and cook for another 2 minutes
  5. Serve

I usually serve this with brown rice, but it works well with quinoa, cous cous, any grain really, it’s delicious, filling and soothes what ails you.
