Monsanto seeds? Really?

Thanks to the crazy weather, it may be sooner than later to plant your veggie patch.

Growing your own food is fun and incredibly rewarding, it’s also a wonderful way to get kids interested in real food. ┬áIn order to make sure you’re growing healthy, good produce don’t buy GMO seeds. I know, it makes me nuts too.

Good news though! Thanks to an article from the website A Garden for the House dot com we can protect ourselves from buying Monsanto products. Know that if you stick to heirloom you won’t get GMO, but some heirloom products are owned by Monsanto and why give them any more money?

I’m really glad I found this article, thank you Kevin Lee Jacobs for keeping us informed. Make sure to read the comments, there’s lots of good information there.
