Energy drinks and your teeth
- May 7th 2012
Do you drink any of those high-energy beverages? You may want to rethink that. According to a study published in the journal ‘General Dentistry‘ the high acidity in the drinks is causing terrible damage to teeth by eating away the enamel.
Do yourself a favor and keep away from those drinks, they’re mostly high doses of sugar with some questionable ingredients. You’ll crash harder and be more tired than you would have been if you never had it.
High energy drinks are illegal in some European countries due to concerns about their safety, that’s enough for me to avoid them like the plague. Treat yourself right, if you’re exhausted you may just be dehydrated. Try a big glass of water first.
