Got kids? Food additives and mood

Today’s post is a must read if you’ve got children, it’s about chemicals and food additives that have been proven to alter children’s moods.
According to an article written by Tim Utton for the Daily Mail UK, up to 1/4 of children are affected by these ingredients, causing lots of disruptive behavior.
This doesn’t surprise me at all, artificial colorings and flavors are loaded with chemicals that could easily alter behaviors, especially in small children who tend to be more sensitive than adults when it comes to this stuff.

Real food is always the way to go, when in doubt, offer a piece of fruit.
