Got garlic or onion hands?

It can be tough to get the smell of garlic or onions off your fingers unless you know this cool trick.

Next time you finish chopping garlic or onions, wipe your hands on the surface of your sink. Here’s the catch: You need a stainless steel sink, you guys with porcelain sinks are out of luck on this one, but if you’ve got stainless steel cutlery, you can wipe your hands all over a soup spoon.

Why does this work? There’s something in the stainless steel that absorbs the odors off of skin. That’s all I know, I could research it to bits and give you a lengthy explanation, but does it really matter? It works.

Try it some time, it’s too easy.
