Seedless watermelon, the true story

Lots of you know I’m a bit obsessed about watermelon seeds, I really don’t like or trust seedless.

I’ll go out of my way to find watermelon with real seeds but that’s becoming a feat in itself. When it comes to seeds, it seems I’m in the minority. If you want to know why I prefer them, check out this post.

How and why did seedless happen? I’ve got an article to share from NPR dot org’s website called ‘Where Did All the Watermelon Seeds Go?’

I really like this piece, it explains a lot. Obviously seeds or seedless is a personal choice. To me, summers  will always involve spitting seeds outside.

If you can’t find seeded, check with the farmer’s markets, I tend to have better luck than in a supermarket.
