Tip for Mondays

Yep, Monday again. When you wake up on a Monday and ain’t feelin’ it, what’s a good thing to do to get you ready for the week? I’ve got a trick that works every time and it only takes a few minutes at most. You can even do it while in bed.
First off, set an intention for the day. For example “Today, I am in a great mood and will get a lot accomplished.” Keep it in present tense. Close your eyes and repeat this a few times, really believing it and feeling it. It’s OK if you feel silly, it can be your little secret. Over time it gets easier and more natural to say.
Simple right? Amazing because it works. The body and brain believe you, so if you say something like “Mondays stink, I always gets tons of hassles at work” they will work together in conjunction to make that happen. It may happen quickly or over a bit of time, but it will happen, it’s all in the perspective.
The brain is able to get the body to do what it thinks you want it to, you just have to truly believe it.
You can do this every day if you like, just change the intention because every day can’t be perfect or the same.
Try it. Truly believe whatever you say and stay positive, it’s good stuff.
