V A C A T I O N in the summertime

Here we are in August, have you taken any time off this summer to relax and rejuvenate?

It’s really easy to come up with a load of plans of things to do over the summer, but how many do we actually accomplish?

NYC has probably close to 1000 things to do ¬†and they’re all really tempting, but for me at least life takes over and I find myself with no time and/or energy to take advantage of what’s out there. So what can you do?

Start by finding something you’d really like to do and make plans to accomplish it. It doesn’t have to be Iron Man stuff or hard core travel and vacationing, even a day relaxing at a beach, park or woods will help you to get back to your true self.

I’m writing this because I’m going out of town tomorrow until Monday night and I will probably not post because I’ll be camping and I need a break from technology. In the meantime, enjoy yourselves, make some good food and take good care of yourselves, If you can’t get away for a day book a massage on a day off and relax outside after. That alone helps tremendously.

Remember how magical summer was when you were a kid? Let yourself experience that feeling again if only for a day, it’s really worth it.
