About this site

My name is Celia, and I am an accredited Holistic Health Counselor and Nutritional Consultant.

More than that, I really love good food. Good food tastes good, but it’s also really important for your health–and everyone has their opinions about it. So, this blog is all about food: What people think about it, what it is and does, what’s good and what’s not. Sometimes I’ll write about where to get food, how to prepare food and how to eat it. Other times it’ll be about food books I’ve read and loved. I’ll let you know about products out there, and what some of those freaky sounding things on food labels are. I’ll even write about pets and how to feed them well. I’ll always have some interesting links for you.

How do I know about this stuff? Well, I have been studying alternative remedies and cures since I was a kid, and I know if you eat well, you feel well. I graduated from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2007 and I am certified by both the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and Columbia University’s Teachers College. I am a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I have a private practice and work with people and also with their pets.
